Jackson Hole with the cousins

 Bo, Nola, Myla and Parker

 Bear faces
These crazy boys came up with grandpa and grandma in October
and Nola had so much fun running and playing with them.

First snow fall of fall 2012

Nola could not wait to go outside and make snow angels.
She loves being in the snow. Good thing cause we get plenty of it here.

Weighing in at.....

Oh what a long time it has been. I have so much to post so I will start with this for today. Both babies had check ups last Friday. Myla is  15 months now and weighs 21 pounds and is in the 25th percentile. Still my little peanut. Kayla is 2 months and weighed 11 pounds. Both had to get shots and that made it a little tricky for momma, but we managed. Myla is now done with shots til kindergarten. SIGH. So much more to post. Stay tuned.

Kayla Lee Simpson

Kayla was born August 10th at 9:46 p.m. It's almost been a month and mommy is just now updating. She is such a joy to our family and I am very glad she is here. My labor was fast and furious. We arrived at the hospital at 5 pm and less then five hours later she made her appearance. She weighed 8 pounds 6 ounces and has a ton of brown curly hair. We are all doing really well.

Not a peanut anymore!

Myla had her year check up yesterday. Her stats were 19 pounds and 28 inches long. She is now in the 25th percentile instead of the third. She has been small at every appointment until yesterday the doctor said " She's catching up".   She is taking steps but not quite walking yet.  She says uh oh  and calls us all daddy.

Baby update

The baby is doing great and we are moving along with this pregnancy. I will be 35 weeks in a few days  and I hope to go early again. We will see what Kayla wants to do. I am not enjoying the hot summer being this far along, but who planned this right? I am growing anxious to meet my little baby and see how my other two adjust to life with three. We decided to name her Kayla Lee Simpson. Can't wait to meet her to not be pregnant for a long time and to adjust to life with three. I heard somewhere that when you have three momma and daddy go from man to man defense to zone.  I play both pretty well so bring it on.

Myla turns 1 !

My little baby turned one. We celebrated a few days early with Devin's family and will celebrate with my family this weekend when we are in Utah.

 First cake

 Sharing with Grandpa
Myla was born on this little guys birthday.( Our nephew) Isn't he handsome? I had to take pictures of the birthday kids.

I experienced a new kind of joy when Myla came into our family. It is so fun to she the girls inter act and to see Myla start to create boundaries with Nola. Myla is going to be my fighter and Nola is going to be my lover. Myla momma and Daddy love you.

Fourth of July 2012

Waiting for the parade to start. Myla with daddy.
 Nola Jean
Devin's grandma was the grand Marshall of the parade. Love her!

We started our fourth out at the early hour of 6 am. Devin's scouts were in charge of the Flag ceremony at the town breakfast. So we left the house a little after 6am. The girls loved the parade, well except for the part when the fire trucks sprayed us, but it was welcomed by momma. It was a hot day. We spent most of the day relaxing with family. It was a long but fun day.

Our little Danny got married!

Daddy and girls all dressed up.
My beautiful sisters. Jami and Kelli.
 The Searle Six.
Devin got bored and snapped some pics of Nola. Some were so cute I just had to post them.

My brothers

We were down in Utah this past week for my brother's wedding. It was so fun to see old family friends and family we haven't seen in a while.

Our month of May

 Playing in the tub
We made an Elephant mask. Nola was obessed with Elephants for a while. Now it's Dolphins.
Daddy came home from Rock Springs with a Tramp
Nola took it upon herself one day to drag her picnic table in by herself from the back porch to do her puzzles.
Our Potty princess. She finally is showing a desire to try and has been pretty successful. She earned this princess set by going potty.

Momma painted Nola's toes pink with sparkles. She was thrilled as you can tell.
 Myla at ten months.
 Myla's first taste of spagetti.
I guess she knows what to dew.

Playing in the pool at Grandma and Grandpa Searle's. It was only 95 Degrees that day.
This past month has been a trying month for Devin and I. Devin had the opportunity to make some extra money covering vacation for a Doctor in Rock Springs which put him out of town for several days here and there. He also had a camp out (Scouts) and a seminar that was also in Rock Springs. So we had Daddy home for 14 nights of the 31 days in May. We are SOOO glad May is over. We are trucking along with the pregnancy and I am doing good so far. I am very anxious to deliver Kayla and have a much deserved break from pregnancy.  Devin and I are new car shopping which has been more stressful for him than me. We are hoping to find something before our third little bundle comes. Nola is FINALLY expressing the need and desire to go potty. I could not be more excited or relieved. I am ready to have a break from multiple diaper changes a day for a few weeks. Myla is pulling herself up and standing for a few seconds. She is close to taking off. Devin said she took a step last night but I was busy in the other room and missed it. She is getting so big and is finally starting to hold her own with her big sister. Makes me laugh.
