Christmas tree huntin

One of my favorite country life traditions is going up the canyon the weekend after Thanksgiving and finding our Christmas tree. Devin found us a beautiful tree and the girls got some sledding with the cousins in while he looked.

This is how we eat spagetti at our house.

I got really tired of cleaning spaghetti stains out of clothes when we would eat spaghetti for dinner. So I started making them take their shirts off to eat spaghetti. Now every time we eat spaghetti we strip down to practically nothing. They think it is the funniest thing ever.

Some Thanksgiving fun

After we ate Turkey at Grandma's we went down to the High school to play in the auxiliary gym.  The little kids played kick ball and ran around and the big kids (the daddy's) played some ball. It was fun.

Nola's 4th birtday

Nola had her 4th Birthday back in November. We literally celebrated all week long. It started the Saturday before her Birthday when Grandpa and Grandma Searle came up for a visit and brought all her gifts from Utah and spent the day with her. Then on her actually birthday we ate lunch at Grandpa and Grandma Simpson's and opened presents there. The day after her birthday she had a princess tea party with her good friend Sabrina Olsen. Then to end off the week the Sunday after her birthday we had all the Aunts, Uncles, and cousins over for cake and ice cream. Talk about spoiled. She loved every minute of it.

Family pictures 2013 (some of my favorites)

We had our pictures taken back in October to give mom plenty of time to get them ready for Christmas. It was a cold October morning, but the girls were troopers until the end. Grandpa took them and did a great job. Aunt T of coarse edited them for us. Love my talented in-laws.

Halloween 2013

 Nola was a mermaid
And back to the Lion cub.

It snowed on Halloween so we didn't do much Trick or Treating. The church had a carnival
so we decided to do that instead and the girls didn't care. They had a blast. They still got more candy then they will ever eat. I say that cause 2 months later I still have it in the cupboard..
